INTER SQUADRON BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

      The 560th Air Base Wing headed by the Wing Commander, BGEN FLORENTINO S RASCO JR AFP opened the Inter Squadron Basketball Tournament last 08 September 2016 at the BGBNEAB Gymnasium. The tournament is composed of 8 teams namely: HAS, Support Group/Base Operations, Logistic Group/Supply, Security Forces, Base Services, Communication Electronics and Information System, Civil Engineer and Motor Vehicle Squadron and Hospital/Dental. The command encourages all personnel to engage in sports activities to maintain their physical well being. The Opening Game is a batlle between HAS vs Logistic Group/Supply ang Support Group/BOS vs Hospital/Dental. The Logistic Group/Supply Squadron and Hospital/Dental both won the opening game.

JOINT TURN-OVER & ASSUMPTION OF COMMAND

      Last 09 September 2016, the Joint Turn Over and Assumption of Office and Command of the units of 560th Air Base Wing namely: CESO, 5621st Civil Engineer Squadron, 5613th Base Services Squadron, 5623rd Supply Squadron, Headquarters Administrative Services and Management Fiscal Office was held at the BGBNEAB Theatre and was presided by ,BGEN FLORENTINO S RASCO JR AFP. The Wing Commander emphasized that as men in uniform, we accept and go where our services are best needed and we should increase our sense of responsibility for the future of the wing in order to bring about changes to the Philippine Air Force, eventually to the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

CAMPAIGN AGAINTS ILLEGAL DRUGS

      Part of the Unit's Pre Anniversary Activity is the motorcade to promote the campaign against illegal drugs to the nearby communities of Brigadier General Benito N Ebuen Air Base. The Activity started with a simple prayer and speech of the Wing Commander BGEN FLORENTINO S RASCO JR AFP. During his speech, he said that personnel of the wing must remain on our guard as this is the main fight of the commander in chief, because a free drug community is one of the best investment to make for the country’s future.
